We are delighted to have been chosen as one of the charities to benefit from this year’s Lions Swimarathon.
With our tenth anniversary underway, this support helps us grow the Big Jersey Read across the island. Money raised through the Swimarathon will help us purchase books that reflect the diversity of our local community. These books will play a vital role in our pledge to give away 10,000 books in 2026, ensuring that every child in Jersey can find stories that inspire them, represent them, and spark a lifelong love of reading.
The Swimarathon’s incredible community spirit aligns beautifully with the Big Jersey Read’s mission to build a culture of reading for pleasure. By taking part, whether swimming, cheering from the side, or making a donation, you’ll be helping us place books directly into the hands of children who need them most.
