As part of their continued commitment to our work, part of Deloitte‘s recent donation has been used to purchase a book each for children who attended this years Jersey Festival of Words .
Seeing authors talk about their work in real life and engaging with their text is incredibly valuable to young learners, and we hope that being able to take a copy of their book home will add to the experience even more.
We wanted to ensure that as many school children as possible had that chance. Generous donations like this allow us to bring this vision to life and address inequality – which is one of our 5 guiding principles.
