This week 16 new Ready to Read volunteers attended our training session at Jersey Library.
Corporate volunteers from KPMG in the Crown Dependencies, VG Jersey, Mourant, IQ-EQ, BDO Jersey and Ogier, as well as some from the community completed this important step in their volunteer journey with us, and received their first sets of books to take into schools and share with children.
Each volunteer will visit their placement school on a weekly basis, and spend time sharing and discussing the books with 3 children.
